     This means there are people out there who have a vested interest in keeping people sick. The sickness, insanity and awful terrorism of the pharmaceutical industry are accepted lamely by the masses yet it was not too long ago that many pushed the American government (and pushed hard) to keep their hands off of peoples’ right to choose the supplements they want.

     Today, in Europe and America wherever chemicals are likely to become  the subject of criticism, the companies move in, balancing, ropagandizing, controlling, mediating protests, funding pseudo-scientific research, buying people off and funding social ventures to enhance their reputation.[xxxix]

      Unfortunately for the public that the western medical establishment is against their principle to use safe medicines like ALA[xl] and magnesium chloride. Both are extremely useful in treating disease and protecting the body against the daily assaults that lead to disease and aging. It is also unfortunate to be living in an age where our access to such natural and safe substances cannot be taken for granted.      Dr. Langsjoen is talking here specifically about statin drugs and the fact that they dinminish CoQ10 levels in the body, which is another important antioxidant. The case is the same for magnesium where we have a medical establishment ignoring the obvious denying the public the knowledge and option of the most necessary of all treatments. There are safe and effective answers that can help us tremendously in our fight against chemical toxicity and the oxidative stress that leads to premature aging and chronic disease.

My (KFS) take on this:  We as a people (in the US) have been lethargic about our health issues and rights.  Even to the ending of many of our civil rights as foisted upon us by new anti-terroism legislation.  As a Pharmacist, I am appalled at how apathetic most people are towards their own basic rights, their own health.  Instead, they concentrate upon their individual happiness, kicking aside anything that stands in their way of the new TV, the new car, the very expensive house, and so on.

And, so, we may very well be coming to the end of "democracy" as we have known it.  Censorship begins at the public (government) school level, and students are NOT being taught facts and history.  Rather, the schools are merely ineffective discipline stops for the eventual jail term.
