You wonder why I refused a stent?
Well, the Charlotte Observer Tuesday, February 14, 2006 using Bloomberg News stated that treatment with drugs
including heparin, retevase, and alteplase led to a higher number of deaths, bleeding, hemorrhagic stroke and repeated heart
attacks. The Lancet, a British Medical Jour\nal, is calling that these drugs no longer be used before angioplasty, or
the insertion of a stent.
Also, my research is indicating that simply the insertion of a stent increases the likehood of serious inflammation
which also leads to further cardiovascular problems. Let the reader beware. Be sure to always ask your physician,
cardiologist questions which reveal how much he or she really knows about what they are doing. Don't be a guinea pig.
